MCL Presents: StoryWalk®
Marion Carnegie Library is so happy to work alongside Marion Cultural and Civic Center and the City of Marion to bring StoryWalk® programming to the community!
All StoryWalk® experiences start at MCL’s historic Market Street entrance. Read the first pages of each story there, and follow the instructions to the next pages on each pedestal as you explore Tower Square and downtown Marion.
Created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont, and developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, formerly of the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, StoryWalk® experiences can be found across the country and have become a librarian favorite.
The StoryWalk® pedestal in front of MCL’s Market Street entrance was provided by a donation from the Friends of the Marion Carnegie Library. You can find out more about the Friends, including how to donate or join, on the Friends of the Marion Carnegie Library webpage.
We want to thank the local businesses and organizations who take part in StoryWalk® events!
